About us
We are a family run nursery established in 1960 we have exhibited at most flower and garden shows through out the country winning numerous gold medals we grow a wide range of perennials which we market under Perennials of Distinction range we also grow a wide range of fruit which we market under the Very Tasty Fruit Range. Our plant centre is open 7 days a week 10 am to 4 pm we only close for Christmas to new year. At present we are under going a redevelopment of the nursery where we are remove some of our field grown stock beds and replacing with a large display garden of perennials and spring bulbs and also a demonstration fruit and vegetable garden. These will be open from Easter 2009 in preparation for our 50th celebration in 2010 when we plan even more changes.
We hold two National Collections I for Delphiniums the queen of the perennial border and our collection of Gooseberries which gave rise to our very tasty fruit range.
